Dummies’ Guide to Buying and Sharing Robin Wyatt Vision’s Images
To ensure you can purchase and share the images from this site as painlessly as possible, we have teamed up with Fotomoto, a print-on-demand eCommerce company that specialises in image selling solutions. You should find that the process is pretty intuitive, but just in case you don’t, this page will guide you through, step by step.
Before doing anything else, you will of course need to select an image that interests you. Find one by either navigating through the Image Archives (there’s a link to these at the top of every page) or by doing an image search using the site’s search facility. Found something? Good, now click on the thumbnail to see it in a larger size. Underneath, you’ll see a caption and a row of ‘buy buttons’.
You now have three options for purchases (prints, downloads and greetings cards) and two options for grabbing free stuff (eCards and sharing via social networks). Let’s walk through each of these in turn (except for sharing: suffice it to say that this option will be familiar to you if you’ve ever used Facebook, Twitter, Digg or Google Buzz to direct people to content you’ve found on the Internet). Oh, and one very important thing to note: the watermarks will be removed from anything that’s not free!
1). Buying prints

STEP 2: Choose the type of print that you would like to receive by clicking on the appropriate box. You can alter this during the next step if you change your mind.

STEP 3: Choose your size of print from the available options. You can get an idea of the scale from the illustration, which changes based on your selection. The base price of your purchase is also shown here.

STEP 4: At the bottom of the same dialogue box, click the orange wording underneath 'Print Options' to choose your preferred paper type. When you are satisfied with your customisation, click 'Add to Cart' at the bottom right.

STEP 5: In the next step, you can change the quantity of prints you want to receive. If you want to browse for more items, click the 'Continue Shopping' button at the bottom left. You can return to your shopping cart via the icon that you'll then see at the top right of your screen. Once you are ready to buy, you should select your country and postal code where indicated above so that an initial estimate of shipping costs (these can be customised before payment) and regional taxes can be calculated.

STEP 6: After reviewing the total cost of your order, including an initial estimate of shipping costs and any applicable taxes, click the 'Check Out' button at the bottom right.

STEP 7: In the next dialogue box, you can enter your name, e-mail address and shipping address. Once you've done so, again click the 'Check Out' button.

STEP 8: You will now be presented with a range of shipping options. Depending on what you choose, the overall price may now go up or down! Once happy with your selection, click the 'Make Payment' button at the bottom right.

STEP 9: Again, click 'Make Payment', either in the centre of the screen or at the bottom right. This will open a new tab in your web browser for the secure payment page.

STEP 10: In the new tab that will open, enter your payment details. If your billing address is different to your shipping address, you can enter the appropriate details here. This is your last opportunity to review your final order, shown at the bottom of the page. Note that even if you made your selections based on sizes shown in centimetres, these will be shown here in inches. Do not be alarmed! For your information, 1" = 2.54 cm. When you are ready to confirm your final order, click 'Submit Payment' at the centre right of the page. CONGRATULATIONS! Your beautiful prints are now on their way to you, and we're sure you will treasure them for years to come.
2). Purchasing downloads

STEP 2: The first step is essentially the same as STEP 1 under 'Buying prints', except that you will choose the third 'buy button', 'Download'. Doing that will bring up the dialogue box shown above. Here, you can choose from four different licencing options (see the icons on the left), ranging from wallpaper (see above), which is cheap but has limited permitted uses...

... to exclusive rights (see above), which cost a lot more but permit you to make use of the image in many different (principally commercial) ways. Full details of your entitlement are shown here. If the kind of usage you require necessitates a model release, please click 'Contact' at the top right of the page and enquire as to whether one is available (in most cases, the answer will be yes!). Once you have made your selection, click 'Add to Cart' at the bottom right.

STEP 3: This will take you to your shopping cart. Complete the required fields here as described in Step 5 under under 'Buying prints', and then click 'Check Out' at the bottom right. After this, you will follow the same steps as described in 7, 9 and 10 under 'Buying prints'.
3). Buying greetings cards

STEP 2: The first step is essentially the same as STEP 1 under 'Buying prints', except that you will choose the second 'buy button', 'Buy Card'. Doing that will bring up the dialogue box shown above. You can choose the type of card you want using the icons on the left, and then opt for a vertical or horizontal shape. After this, you can either indicate that you want the image cropped to the size of the card or else fit it yourself by holding your left mouse button down over the image and moving it around accordingly. Clicking the 'Outside' and 'Inside' buttons at the bottom will show you how the card looks outside and inside, respectively. Above this, you will see an 'Add Message' button. Click this and move to the next step.

STEP 3: A smaller dialogue box will now open, in which you can type a message for the recipient of your card. There are options of a variety of different fonts, alignments and text sizes. After seeing how your message looks, you can then click 'Edit Message' to alter it. You can of course leave this blank if you are ordering cards to send to yourself to insert handwritten messages later. Once you are satisfied with your handiwork, click 'Add to Cart'.

STEP 4: This will take you to your shopping cart. Complete the required fields here as described in Step 5 under under 'Buying prints', and then click 'Check Out' at the bottom right. After this, you will follow the same steps as described in 7, 9 and 10 under 'Buying prints'.
4). Sending FREE eCards

STEP 2: The first step is essentially the same as STEP 1 under 'Buying prints', except that you will choose the fifth 'buy button', 'eCard', which you will see to the far right. Doing that will bring up the dialogue box shown above. Here, you can enter the sender and recipient details and write your message. Note that the way the image is displayed here (as a stamp) is a little deceptive. Your recipient will see a much larger image in his or her inbox, as you'll observe in the next step. Click 'Send eCard' when you are ready.

STEP 3: There's nothing more for you to do at this point! But just so you know what your recipient will see when s/he opens his or her eCard, we've pictured this above. As you can see, it will be displayed within the body of the e-mail received. There will be no need to go to an external site to pick it up.
